What data do we process, and why?
On this website we only process the data you provide in the forms:
- Quote request: name, e-mail address, phone number, the town and address of the property, property type, requested services, comments. Purpose: preparing the quote and keeping in touch.
- Contact: name, e-mail address, phone number (if provided), subject and message. Purpose: answering your enquiry.
- Customer account: name, e-mail address, password (stored only in encrypted, i.e. hashed, form), phone number and company name (if provided). Purpose: operating the customer account and following your quote requests.
- Technical data: session cookies required for logging in and for secure operation.
Legal basis of processing
For quote requests and enquiries, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract) or your consent (point (a)).
For customer accounts, the legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when you register. Compliance with statutory retention obligations (e.g. accounting) is based on point (c).
How long do we keep the data?
We keep the data of quote requests and messages for up to 12 months after the matter is closed. If a contract is concluded, the applicable statutory retention period (e.g. accounting) applies.
We process customer account data until the account is deleted; you can ask for deletion at any time.
Who do we share the data with?
We do not sell your personal data and do not pass it on to third parties for marketing purposes. The website’s hosting and e-mail providers technically support the processing (as data processors). When handling administration on your behalf, we pass the necessary data on to the providers (e.g. water utility providers) as instructed by you.
Cookies
This website does not use analytics or marketing cookies. We only set cookies required for logging in and for secure operation, which do not require consent.
Your rights
While your data is being processed, you have the right to:
- request information about and access to the data we process,
- request rectification or erasure of your data,
- request restriction of processing or object to the processing,
- request data portability,
- withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal).
Remedies
You can submit your request using the contact details above. You may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH, naih.hu) or go to court.
